The Embassy facilitates the realization of the death compensation money from the sponsor or the company for those who died by accident in the workplace or road accident or killed through court procedure. The legal heirs of the deceased authorize the Embassy through Power of Attorney to take legal course for the realization of the compensation money. Once the Power of Attorney is received by the Embassy from the legal heir of the deceased, the Embassy submit the file to the enlisted lawyer to move. After successful completion of the court procedure, the compensation money cheque is deposited to the Bank account of the Embassy of Bangladesh. Then the Embassy remits the money to the account of the Wage Earners Welfare Board which disburse the money to the legal heirs of the deceased.
